You just need to install it, follow the instructions on the website and you can mine some coins

I only can say that it works for me, It only "generates" small amounts, you can change the speed you want to mine the Bitcoins, it uses your CPU (processor) not GPU (graphic card) to mine.
(you can change the rate, if you want more BTC's and faster you need to turn it to 100%)
It mines in satoshis, that means in the smallest parts of BTC to keep it short
