How to change wifi password in PLDT Fibr Wifi

A basic guide for PLDT Fibr owners how to change the wifi default password (Updated 2018 Below)

Step 1: Plug your PLDT Home Fibr router in your PC/Laptop via LAN then when status connected open your favorite browser then type this IP address 192.168.1.1 and a box pop out will request log in type this.

User Name: adminpldt
Password: 1234567890

Step 2: Goto Network-> Advanced (Under Wlan Settings)

Step 3: Set the settings to:

Security Mode: WPAPSKWPA2PSK
WPA Algorithms: TKIPAES
Pass Phrase: "Your Wifi Password"​

The Pre-Shared Key should be your wifi password. So Type whatever Password you want (You can Input 8-64 characters), then click apply button.
