AWS Siklab Pilipinas 2019 is a 2-day training bootcamp with a 1-day career fair for individuals in IT, Computer Science, and related courses / fields. The event is packed with insightful lectures, a cloud computing session, specialized training, and an AWS Game Day hackathon!

What will be the event schedule?
Day 1: Cloud Computing Bootcamp
The bootcamp will follow the Cloud Practitioner Essentials curriculum. Learn more about AWS Compute, Storage, Security, Application, Database services. Engage in hands-on lab sessions and learn insights from many different AWS stories!
Day 2:
Specialized Topics (Morning)
Learn with AWS builders to deploy webapps on AWS using the knowledge and skills learned on Day 1. Join a session with AWS Solution Architects and take dive into artificial intelligence, machine learning, the internet of things, and big data!
AWS Gamified Hackathon (Afternoon)
Are you ready for even more fun? Prepare yourself for the AWS Game Day! An afternoon of fun and innovation is waiting for you, where all participants (including you!) will be divided into teams to solve real-world cloud computing scenarios with innovative solutions. You got this!
Day 3: Career Fair
Apply your AWS skills in real life!
For the last day, you will be given the chance to meet hiring companies that are looking for talents with AWS skills (that’s you!). Upload your resume, and get selected for on-site interviews in the AWS office! Who knows, you might just be accepted on the spot!

What are the requirements to join?*
In order to participate in this complimentary 3-day event by AWS, you will need to fulfill and submit the following requirements:
(1) Submission of your updated CV or Resume
Find job opportunities through our fair – and even get accepted on the same day. This document is a required submission for the event.
(2) Completion of AWS Educate pathways and badge
You will need to complete the Cloud Computing 101 and Solutions Architect pathway + Cloud Literacy badge on AWS Educate. This will make sure that you best prepared for our lectures, workshops, and hackathon!
(3) Submission of AWS Educate Portfolio
In order to validate that you have completed the pathways above, you will need to download and submit your portfolio through the registration form (instructions are on the reg form!)
If you haven't started yet on AWS Educate, click this link and get started at no cost!
(4) Take an exam instead! This can replace AWS Educate requirements
Prove your skills and knowledge in the cloud, systems, and technology by taking our assessment exam. If you pass the exam, you will be immediately accepted to the event!
By taking the exam, you can skip requirements (2) and (3). Instructions for the exam are on the registration form!
